He/She is a surgeon who has received training and gained the right to specialize in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, a branch of surgery that attempts to correct a person's appearance and functional disorders through surgery.

A Plastic Surgeon deals with all kinds of surgical problems that disrupt the external appearance of any part of the body. Events that disrupt the shape and functions of the body can be congenital or acquired (accident, tumor, etc.). A Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery specialist deals with the treatment of congenital, fused fingers (syndactyly), extra fingers (polydactyly), cleft palate-lip, vascular masses (hemangioma, vascular malformation); traumatic burns, facial cuts-injuries and limb amputations due to accidents; various skin and soft tissue tumors, chronic (long-lasting) wounds. In plastic surgery, problems in the nose, breast, ear, face, abdomen and any other part of the body can be corrected.
